MEET MICHAEL MARTIN,
BOARD OF EDUCATION MEMBER
Bringing Leadership, Experience, and Results for Berkeley County Schools
Hello there! My name is Michael Martin and I am seeking reelection to the Berkeley County School Board. The election is scheduled for May 14th, 2024. This race is not about me or you; it is for the children and the future of Berkeley County, WV.
We are in this fight together to ensure full support for Berkeley County's youth, and that starts with supplying our students, teachers, and school personnel with the resources they need. If reelected to the school board, you can trust that I will always make our students my top priority, no matter what.
As a board member, I will continue to work tirelessly to expand access to quality education, improve our schools infrastructure, and ensure a secure future for Berkeley County Schools.
As a product of Berkeley County schools, I brought a fresh voice and perspective to the board that we was needed in 2020. I believe my accomplishments on the Berkeley County Board of Education show my commitment to ensure our schools are safe and secure, while exceeding all academic standards. Join me in May to make sure we secure Berkeley County's Future.
About me: I have a strong background in public policy from my time at several different trade associations in Washington, D.C. ranging from agriculture to the hospitality industry. My current day job is focused on communications and government relations for a manufacturing trade association in northern Virginia. My hobbies include gardening, exploring West Virginia, and spending time with my dog, Cole.
